We are Dubit and we build Virtual Worlds. Our technology has been used by Cartoon Network Warner Brothers The Bbc and The Beano to name a few. These are customers with awesome ideas for their worlds and we re here to make sure that those ideas get realised. Flex As3 Flash Developer We are looking for someone who has games programming experience preferably that experience would be building virtual worlds but more importantly we are looking for a good solid developer. Someone with a passion for playing games would be great but not essential. If you can construct a multiplayer server maintain thousands of users and their beloved avatars architect large object-oriented code bases or script new and intriguing experiences we want to hear from you Skills Required (You should have at least some of the skills listed) Experience in As3 and Flex. Any Java experience would be useful. Familiarity with concurrent programming. Awareness of Open Source tools and developments around them. Any familiarity with the Spring Framework would be exceedingly useful. Understanding of Mvc architecture. Knowledge of Oo design patterns and best practice techniques. Experience with socket programming. Experience with designing Servlets. Games scripting experience. Any experience in Html5 would also be an advantage. Qa Technician As a quality assurance (Qa) engineer it would be your job to play though our virtual worlds spotting bugs and mistakes that need to be fixed before the game reaches the market. Testing is a vital part of the production process. As well as finding and documenting programming bugs you would act as the game s first audience reporting on its playability and recommending improvements. The Role As part of your responsibilities you would Analyse performance Functionality and Localisation testing Write manual test scripts Work from test scripts Play testing and destructive testing Document and track bugs You will work closely with programmers artists and designers before a game s release and with customer support teams after its launch.
