Telesales Executive (Initial 6 Month Contract Position) (Leeds)

Brief Job Specification A challenging role within the fast paced new business sales department developing leads and booking appointments of which the Regional Account Executives will attend and close. Working as part of a team to build our salon portfolio working with new and existing customers to maximise the commercial opportunities of the Great Lengths extension system Primary Duties Appointment Making in line with company pre set work targets Cold calling and subsequent development of salons leads across the UK and Ireland Ensure all incoming enquiries have an appointment with a relevant Account Executive Targeting research contact prestigious salon groups Sending out initial corporate material to educate leads on our brand Diary management for Account Executive s including confirmation calls rescheduling of appointments and route plans Daily monitoring of all incoming emails and requests for Great Lengths salon referral scheme Handling incoming enquiries from both prospective salons and Great Lengths existing customer base on the phone and by email Ensure all activities are recorded on company database Visma Support Account Executives and Sales Manager as and when required Ensure Great Lengths quality standards are met Secondary Duties Support at sales events i.e. Workshows Salon International and Demo Evenings System sales into territories we do not have an Account Executive Up and Cross Selling to existing Great Lengths Salons Marketing packs advanced courses etc Responsibilities Ensure all individual appointment and sales targets are achieved and general sales targets are understood Continually strive to maximise sales opportunities Skills A positive attitude Strong sales negotiation and closing skills Customer service complaint handling skills an advantage Effective communicator at all levels Must be able to work under pressure multi task and prioritise Must be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative Must be able to deal with difficult situations Strong administration skills with a keen eye for detail A good working knowledge of Word Excel Outlook and Powerpoint Knowledge Keeping constantly up to date with current features and trends in hairdressing and extension industries A good working knowledge of new and potential sales opportunities plus existing Great Lengths Salons Stay abreast of all company developments and technologies Must have strong people skills knowledge and understanding of different personality types.
